Pesso Boyden System Psychomotor Therapy (PBSP)

Neurological research has confirmed that emotional experiences are encoded and patterned in our brains, and throughout our bodily nervous systems. These experiences become woven into the fabric of our mental and physical being. The experiences we do remember, the memories we maintain a connection with, are those that carry an emotional charge. When these experiences are negative, our whole being is affected. These negatively charged memories, when triggered by everday events, can manifest as depression, anxiety, and a host of other mental and physical symptoms. These echoes from the past can also cause patterns in relationships and life-style.

PBSPIn order to retrieve, integrate, and correct these painful, life-altering memories, I use a highly effective mind/body therapy named Pesso Boyden System Psychomotor (PBSP). In a safe, caring, and respectful style, I closely track my clients' verbal and bodily expressions as they emerge. I use specific PBSP techniques to highlight mind/body information that illuminates my clients' interior/exterior perspective, and then I represent this through the use of role-playing figures. Using these techniques, I help my clients to recall past life-shaping events so that I can then facilitate my clients to make symbolic corrections. These corrective experiences enter the psyche at a core level and produce psychological/neurological reorganization.

This particular therapy can be done in all of the modalities I offer; individual, family, couples', and group therapy. When I facilitate this type of therapy, I can help you get to the root and heart of the matter very quickly.
